Vance & Hines, FP4 adjustable injection

The latest digital communication with your engine's injection system is via Bluetooth with your smartphone, both Android and iPhone. Used to calibrate the OEM fuel map with flash technology. The OEM map is stored in the FP4 so that the ECU can always be returned to factory settings.

The FP4 features an all-new PCB, chassis, firmware and app, all designed and manufactured in Santa Fe Springs, CA. The new hardware is slimmer and smaller than previous generations, making installation in tight spaces easier. The slightly longer wiring harness provides more mounting options. The LEDs have been simplified for a more intuitive understanding of the communication between the FP4 and your motorcycle.

The new Vance & Hines FP4 app is easier to use and faster than ever. The new interface makes navigating the app simple, and the navigation bar provides access to the main menu, Live Sensor Data, System Info, and customer support from anywhere in the app. The Live Data screen has been redesigned with an additional gauge so you can see more data. The new Performance Log feature provides additional control and insight – choose from three data settings, take a ride, then analyze your data with the ride-enabled chart.

The Performance Data feature uses your phone’s GPS to map and record your ride, so you can see your time, acceleration (0–60), or how fast you took turns. New maps for 2021 Harley-Davidson Touring and Softail models are available in FP4’s library, developed on real bikes with real parts in Santa Fe Springs, CA. The maps can be further customized via the FP4 app.

Note: Once the FP4 is used on a motorcycle, it is “tied” to the specific OEM ECU and cannot be used on another bike. The OEM fuel map is stored in the FP4 so the ECU can always be reset to factory settings.
