The latest in digital communication with your motorcycle's fuel injection is via Bluetooth and your smartphone, whether you use Android or iPhone. The FP4 is used to recalibrate the OEM fuel map using flash technology. The OEM map is stored in the FP4 so the ECU can always be restored to factory settings.

The FP4 features an all-new circuit board, chassis, firmware and app , all designed and manufactured in Santa Fe Springs, California. The new hardware is slimmer and smaller than previous generations, making installation easier – even in tight spaces. A slightly longer wiring harness provides more mounting options. The new simplified LED indicators provide a more intuitive overview of the communication between the FP4 and your motorcycle.

The new Vance & Hines FP4 app is faster and easier to use than ever. With the new navigation bar, you can quickly access the Main Menu, Live Sensor Data, System Info and Customer Support from anywhere in the app. The Live Data view has been redesigned and now features an additional instrument so you can see even more data while driving.

The all-new Performance Log feature gives you even more control and insight. Choose from three data logging options, go for a ride, then dive into the data via ride-enabled graphs. Here you can zoom in, select points, and see values ​​from all available sensors during your ride. This feature can be used for both diagnostics and to create dyno-like graphs . At the same time, Performance Data uses your phone’s GPS to map your ride , so you can see your time, 0-100 acceleration, top speed on a stretch, or how fast you took a turn.

Additionally , new, custom maps have been developed for 2021 Harley-Davidson Touring and Softail models, based on real-world testing at Vance & Hines’ own dyno tuning center in California. Users can choose from a large library of maps and make further customizations themselves via the FP4 app.

Note: Once the FP4 is used on a motorcycle, it becomes "locked" to the specific OEM ECU and cannot be used on another motorcycle.
