Note before installation:

Never start the engine before the battery is fully charged – otherwise irreversible damage and shortened service life may occur.

New AGM batteries are factory charged but will slowly discharge during storage, so recharging is necessary before installation.

Recharge at least every 3 months, or more often in very hot or cold conditions.

The vehicle's electronics (e.g. clock, alarm) further drain the battery.

AGM batteries do not tolerate deep discharge well – maintain a minimum of 12.4V for optimal performance.

Connect the battery to a suitable automatic maintenance charger if it is not to be used for a period of time to maintain optimal charge.
