S&S, 124" Twin Cam Softail Hot Set-Up Kit with Cylinder Heads – Black

Black wrinkle paint with highlighted cooling fins. Upgrades your original 96" or 103" engine to 124" displacement. The kit comes complete with stroker flywheel, big bore cylinder and flat-top piston set, giving a compression ratio of 10.8:1 with the included 91cc high-flow cylinder heads. The included 640 Easy Start gear-driven camshafts provide the necessary valve lift to allow the engine to “breathe” while still being easy to start with the stock starter and battery.

Notes:

Standard engine blocks must be machined to accept the larger 4-1/8" big bore cylinders. The kit increases the engine height by .096".

This kit builds a serious high-performance engine and is therefore not compatible with standard ignition and standard (too small) throttle housings. A large throttle housing is required, such as the S&S 558678 58mm single bore unit, as well as a high-performance ECU. Carbureted engines require an ignition with adjustable advance curves and a large carburetor, such as the S&S Super G or equivalent. The kit is machined to be compatible with standard manifolds.
